Rohith Moolakatt is collecting donations for the Concord Adult Homeless Shelter and can use all the help he can get. On Saturday May 13th and Sunday May 21st help Rohith by passing out fliers (Saturday) and picking up donations (Sunday). Both work days will run from 10 am to around 1-2 pm. You only need to attend one day to receive project credit. Food and refreshments will be provided. RSVP in advance to [email protected]. The Walnut Avenue Community Christian Preschool will be holding their annual "May Festival" on Saturday, May 6. There are several open slots for volunteers from 10 am to 3 pm. You must help for at least two hours for this to count as a project. (Note: If you don't use this event as your project, it can always count for normal service hours. Two hours of service cannot be used for both your 10 mandated service hours and your project.)

Bring five cans of food in to your 3rd period class and have your teacher sign off on your donation. The most needed items are cereal, peanut butter, tuna, and canned meals. The New Lead Food Drive ends Wednesday April 26.
